DAY 1 - 3 HOURS
RIXDORF PHOTO CLASS

Principles of composition

We'll review the options of your camera, see how creative focusing can be, understand the basics of composition and by unveil the power of what we call “Hunting mode".

Rixdorf is a very interesting area. It doesn’t feel like being in Berlin at all. This little village truly works as an oasis of quietness in the middle of the big city.

DAY 2 - 3 HOURS
TEMPELHOFER FELD PHOTO CLASS

Manual exposure

You'll finally understand what aperture, shutter speed and ISO are for. You'll start shooting in manual mode! And after that, we'll learn how to lead effectively the eyes of your pictures' viewers.

Tempelhofer Feld is a worldwide unique space. This public park used to be a crucial airport in the Nazi and Cold War eras. The space is overwhelming.

DAY 3 - 3 HOURS
RAW GELÄNDE PHOTO
CLASS

Street photography

We'll finish the course by going deep into the possibilities of the different types of lenses and by learning some good tricks to photograph a city and its people, its action, its architecture.

RAW Gelände is a good example of how abandoned spaces are handled in Berlin. This former train reparation area is now full of clubs, sport halls, cinemas and graffiti.

Not what you are after?

Check out our one-to-one workshops. You won't need to stick to predefined photographical contents or locations. We can design a tailor-made experience based on your needs and wishes. And furthermore, you'll have the dedicated attention of your instructor, which will speed up your learning process big time.

First day's meeting point

We meet at Cafe Dritter Raum (Hertzbergstraße 14, 12055 Berlin)

I loved that the course was in a small group, so the learning was really personalised, plus it’s great to learn and work with people who share your passion.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is ideal for those who don't have prior knowledge on photography or for those who, even having taken part in a photography course before, want to strength what they've learnt.

You’ll need a digital camera with manual exposure control (aperture and shutter speed) to do the exercises.

It’s also advisable to bring a notebook along to take notes, though not mandatory.
